Attendees

During the week in which Data Privacy Day falls, a range of activities and events take place in the United States and Canada, and in 27 European countries, each designed to further privacy education and awareness or to advance the debate and dialogue around current controversial privacy issues.

These pages display the events that took place in celebration of Data Privacy Day 2010.  You will find: academic events, which include conferences, panel discussions, and brown bag lunches held at universities in the United States and Canada; information on scheduling high school events for teens; events offered, hosted by, or of interest to corporations and small businesses; and events hosted by or featuring speakers from privacy-related nonprofit organizations.  You will also be able to find events featuring federal and state government officials, agency representatives, and privacy officers and commissioners. If you hosted a Data Privacy Day event for 2010 and you would like to see it included here, please contact us at info@dataprivacyday.org .

In the Spring and Summer, we will begin to post notice of events being planned for Data Privacy Day 2011.  If you are planning an event or activity in any of these venues, please let us know by emailing info@dataprivacyday.org .
